Woodsetts Pond Fishing Well Silvers in Abundance

By July 9, 2018 No Comments
Woodsetts Pond has always been an excellent mixed fishery with a good head of carp. Since William Long, a junior member, landed the 19lb specimen below back in May the water has fished consistently well with roach, rudd, bream around and above the 1lb mark showing.
Not to be left out perch up to 3lbs have been making regular appearances.

During the current very hot spell two water pumps are being run a couple of hours a day to maintain the saturated oxygen levels in the pond. Members can fish as usual.
