Shireoaks AC - Chesterfield Canal - Shireoaks Marina 2011 - 2012 season.

Our access arrangement with Shireoaks AC has been negotiated for us again this 2011 - 2012 season by Steve Derham. SYPAC members are reminded that fishing in Shireoaks Marina is only permitted between 15th October and 31st March each year. There have been instances of some unknown anglers fishing the marina in the close season resulting in complaints from the boaters, the situation is now fragile and continued misuse could see Shireoaks AC loosing the rights to fish the Marina.

SYPAC members are asked to support the Shireoaks AC bailiff Billy Marshall and inform any members seen fishing the Marina out of season not to in a polite manner.

Steve thanks for arranging this fishing for us I feel sure that SYPAC members will do all they can to assist without putting themselves at risk.
