Grafton AA, Chesterfield Canal.
We have an arrangement with the Grafton Angling Association for ten of our members to
fish their stretch of the Chesterfield Canal at any one time.
It runs from the bridge 39 the concrete road bridge at Shireoaks which is just on the worksop
side of Lock 44 - Shireoaks Bottom Lock - to Bridge 44 just passed Brace Bridge Lock on the
Retford side of Worksop.
It includes the Lock Keeper stretch and the Shaw's stretch. In recent years the water has
been well stocked by the Association and is a good match venue.
Please make sure that your SYPAC tackle sticker is prominently displayed and have your
current membership card ready to produce to the bailiff.
